It is with great pleasure that we launch a new service to our clients the By Appointment Only Design Cake Collection.
Our flowery concoctions are designed to create impact for any occasion! And believe us when we tell you that they taste utterly sublime!
The tantalisingly tempting flavours are Vanilla victoria Sponge, Lemon Sponge, Chocolate and Chocolate Buttercream, Coffee Caramel and Walnuts, Chocolate and Ganache, Banana and Carrot!
The Collection has been launched in the Brides Magazine.
Candy Floss Cascade
A candy pink concoction of fluffy floral textures and delightful garden scents, cascading around a simple and chic, soft white iced stack of scrumptious cake. A delicate iced bead accents the cake layers.
A ‘Wedgwood’ inspired creation incorporating trailing white iced acanthus leaves and a delicately, detailed jug fashioned from icing.
Delightfully decorated with a perfusion of florals in pastel pinks, lilacs, purples and beautiful, delicate blues. Accented by fragrant, white hyacinth florets stranded in swag detail.
An elegant, ethereal confection incorporating florals in soft vanillas, snowy whites and beautiful blush. Delicately punctuated with divine Lily of the Valley. A decadent layering of scrumptious, simply iced cake and truly beautiful florals.
A ‘tongue in cheek’ creation incorporating a stack of pastel pink layered cake with beautiful iced bead detail playfully supporting waffle ice cream cones dribbling with floral peony cream, in soft iced white, snowberry pink and delightful raspberry ripple tones.
A concoction of peach iced, shell piped, square cakes hand embellished with a love poem by master scribe Paul Antonio, in edible faded chocolate ink.
With a nod to the fanciful Fairy paintings of the Victorian era the cake is decorated with whimsical fruits and florals and incorporates foliage accents to emulate the calligraphy flourish details.
All Tied Up
A fun and playful confection of perfectly, pastel pink, iced square cake with delicate floral ribbon and oversized bow detail in the most divine of buds, florets and petals.
Pretty Maids all in a row
A soft pastel citrine iced cake incorporating rows of miniatures delightfully adorned with layered ribbon detail and soft flowing florals in pistachio, pale pink and luscious lemon yellow.
If you would like to place an order from our BAOD Cake collection, we offer private tastings and consultations for you and your partner at our boutique in Chiltern. This service is complementary and will give you an opportunity to sample our delicious flavours and go through your thoughts and ideas with either Tony or Javier.
At By Appointment Only Design we are equally passionate about flavour and taste as we are about the use of florals to make a your wedding cake. Our commitment to quality and flavour ensures that only the finest ingredients are used and that all produce is freshly baked to order.
Allergy and dietary advice
Our cakes are made with or may contain traces of gluten, wheat, dairy & nuts. Bespoke comissions are also welcome with a starting fee of £2,500 per cake.
We will do our utmost to accommodate all orders, however, to allow us sufficient time to schedule and create wedding cake we recommend giving 3 to 6 months lead time on your order.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon order confirmation before any work is started. The final balance is payable 4 weeks before completion.
For orders with less than 6 weeks notice the full payment is required upon confirmation and is non- refundable. Please note, we do not accept cheques.
For cancellations more than 6 weeks before completion, the deposit payment is non-refundable and any specially ordered items and work already undertaken in accordance with your order is chargeable in addition. For cancellations less than 4 weeks before the completion date, the full balance is payable.
