Well almost, sunflowers are at least!
Harry Winston turned to the simple sunflower as inspiration for the new collection of fine jewellery and we were asked to create the environment at Harrods to show off the fruits or rather flowers of their labour…
Followed by a lunch at the Mandarin Oriental
Just as we were preparing for a busy week at BAOD….a new request flew in!
To design and install a window for Browns designer boutique on Sloane Street to celebrate Chelsea in Bloom!
With three working days to spare before  the install we set to work sketching… the theme was the decades of the last hundred years, as Chelsea Flower Show was to celebrate its Centenary.
With that in mind we turned to 1920′s especially since ‘the’ fashion is all things Gatsby and came up with a Gatsby Garden with wisteria tree made of monkey vine and dendrobium and regal swans sculpted in floral foam embellished with soft feathery Summer blooms.Complete with pond like mirrors and peony water lillies…..
